Link Aadhaar to UAN in EPFO portal

Linking Aadhaar with UAN is much easier now as shown in the below steps. Aadhaar linking with UAN has become more important now as EPFO has come out with a rule that if the Aadhaar is not linked with UAN then the contribution to the EPF won’t be credited to the account starting from Jan 2022. So let us see in the below steps on how to link Aadhaar with UAN in the EPFO portal

Step 1: Login into EPFO UAN portal here – https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/

Step 2: Enter your UAN username and password, then click on login

Step 3: Go to Manage and then click on “Modify Basic Details”

Step 4: Then enter the Aadhaar number on the right side under changes requested and then click on Update

Step 5: Click on “Yes” in the confirmation popup. After that a success message stating the changes were saved successfully would be displayed at the top and then it would be pending from your employer side to approve the changes as shown below

Step 6: Once the employer approves, it would be verified by the field office within 10 to 15 working days. Once verified your Aadhaar would be linked with UAN
