Government and Telecom operators has made Aadhaar Verification easier. Just follow the below steps and Verification will be over within 2 minutes as all are automated.
Steps for linking Aadhaar with Mobile number
1.Dial 14545 from Airtel/Vodafone/Reliance Jio or any other operator (BSNL doesn’t work as of now)
2.Press 1 to give your consent to link Aadhaar number
3.Enter the 12 digit Aadhaar number and Press 1
4.OTP will be generated and sent to the mobile number registered with Aadhaar (I got OTP at number “A” whereas I was doing verification for Phone number “B”)
5.Enter the OTP after the IVR tells your number and the last 4 digits of the number to which OTP has been sent
6.Press 1 to complete the Aadhaar reverification process
7. If you hold another number, you can press 2 to verify that number also or press 1.
My verification process was over within 5 minutes and I verified for an Airtel number whereas my Aadhaar was with BSNL number. I received OTP on the BSNL number and entered it to link Airtel number with Aadhaar!
