Update Passport Number in the PF UAN Portal

Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) allows you to add your Passport Number as one of EKYC Proofs in the Member e-Sewa UAN portal. (The other KYC Proofs can be added are Bank and PAN documents)


Update Passport Number in the EPF Portal

  1. Login into the UAN Member portal with UAN ID and Password
  2. Click on “Manage” and then click on “KYC”
  3. Click on Passport as shown below

  4. Enter the name as in the Passport, along with the Passport Expiry Date and Passport Number as shown below

  5. Then click on the Checkbox for consent. Then click on the “Save” button
  6. Once the Save button is clicked, OTP will be sent to your Aadhaar-based mobile number linked with the UAN
  7. After OTP validation, your EKYC will be pending approval at the PF Field Office
  8. Once the eKYC for a passport is approved, it will be reflected in the passport portal
