PF balance (Provident Fund) of an account can be checked online in different ways as noted below If you have UAN it makes you task easier and also it’s possible to check PF balance without UAN. The balance of your account will have the contributions from your share as well as your employer share and the balance amount shows you the current money you have on your EPF account and it won’t show the money on EPS (Employees Pension Scheme) account.

These are the different ways you can check your PF Balance online as shown below

PF Balance Check by Missed call: Give a missed call to the number 01122901406. After the call you will receive an SMS containing the Balance details along with your UAN

PF Balance Check by SMS: By sending sms in this form Send “EPFOHO UAN” to 7738299899. You will receive an SMS containing your PF Balance

The above 2 method doesn’t require UAN to be known by you as the EPFO sees whether your mobile number is already in the database and sends out an Balance SMS
