Train Cancelled? How to get Refund

Sometimes due to various reasons, Indian Railways may cancel the trains from source to destination. Once you have booked the ticket and later if the train is cancelled for any reasons then there is no need to place a online cancellation in IRCTC and filling of TDR is also not required.

Indian railways will refund your full fare amount. Automatically it will be credited back to the source account from which the booking transaction took place for the confirmed tickets .

In case if you are not aware of the train cancellation and if you try to cancel your ticket it will intimate you about the train cancellation and will refund your amount.
