Below is list of lockdown restrictions which would be implemented from May 10, 2021 to May 24, 2021 in Tamil Nadu to prevent the spread of COVID-19
- No flights from foreign countries would be permitted
- Visitors from other states & countries into TN would be need to get E-Pass by registering at http://eregister.tnega.org
- 3000 sq ft and above shopping complexes are not permitted to function
- Only small stores are permitted to function that too till 12 PM with not more than 50% people
- ECommerce companies are allowed to deliver only Food,Vegetable & Grocery items
- Tasmac shops won’t function and would be shutdown till May 24
- Restaurants can function only with Parcel service being allowed with specific timings as noted below
- 6AM – 10AM, 12PM – 3PM, 6PM-9PM and in these timeslots only Swiggy,Zomato would be allowed to function
- Amma restaurants are still allowed to function
- Street Vegetable Vendors & Flower delivery is allowed till 12 PM
- Ration shops will function from 8 AM to 12PM
- Courts will be allowed to function with no restrictions
- No restriction on “On Going” construction works
- No restrictions on Journalists, TV & Newspaper Media
- Continous Process Industries & companies manufacturing Essential commodities are allowed to function and employees are permitted to travel to the companies with ID Cards
- Data Center Employees are allowed to work
- ITES Employees
- Petrol Bunks are allowed to function without any restrictiosn
- Banks, ATM filling & Insurance companies, In are allowed to function with 50% workforce
- 50 persons are permitted to attend the Weddings
- Paid caregivers for NGO’s, Differently able organizations are allowed to work
- 20 persons are allowed for funerals
- Tourists are not allowed for destinations like Kodaikanal, Ooty & Yeracud
- Beauty Parlors, Saloons and Spas are not allowed to function
- Cinema halls,Bars, Auditorium, Recreation Clubs wont be allowed to function
- Small Vendor shops at Koyambedu are not allowed to function
